Drey Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how your personal information is collected, used, and shared by Drey Corporation (“Drey”). Drey is committed to respecting privacy and the confidentiality of your personal data, traffic data and communications content. Please read the following to learn more about our Policy.


1. Summary

Both parties agree to comply with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act at any time. This includes the necessary technical and organizational security measures. The User must ensure compliance with the relevant provisions by third parties using its services and systems. The User has the responsibility to inform the persons affected about the processing of data concerning them and to obtain the appropriate and necessary consent (including the power to transfer the data to Drey for processing, should this be planned).


When handling data, Drey adheres to the applicable laws. Drey collects stores and processes only the data that is required for the Drey service, the customer relationship management, in particular to ensure a high quality of service, the security of operations and infrastructure as well as for invoicing purposes. The User agrees that Drey may use the information provided by the User in the contract agreement to design and develop its services and products. If Drey provides a service jointly with third parties, or if the Users consume services by third parties under the contracts, then Drey may share data about the User with the third parties as far as this is required to provide or ensure the services or for debt collection.


Basically this means: Drey takes your personal information with care and complies with laws that regulate privacy and confidentiality.


2. Your Acceptance

By using Drey Services, meaning our web application, website and our other products and services, you give consent to the terms stated in this Policy. This Privacy Policy is an integrative part of Drey Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.


Basically this means: By using our applications and visiting our website, you fully agree to this Policy.


3. Personal and Aggregate Information

We collect two basic types of information necessary for our services, namely Personal Information and Aggregate Information. As used herein, the term “Personal Information” means information that specifically identifies an individual (such as a name and e-mail address), and demographic and other information or content about an individual.


“Aggregate Information” is data we collect about a group or category of services or users from which individual user identities have been removed (are anonymous). Basically this means: This Policy covers responsibility towards your Personal Information. On the other side, we are free to use Aggregate Information at our own discretion.


4. What Personal Information We Collect

During the course of service delivery, Drey may collect, store and use the various types of Personal Information. This information can be knowingly given to us or automatically recorded as logs.


4.1. Provided by You:

f. Customer feedback: such as software ratings and occasional surveys questionnaires.


Basically this means: We collect both information that you provide on request, as well as automatic log records.


5. How We Collect Personal Information



5.1. Registration
During our account registration process, we will collect your first and last name, username, password and email from you. You must provide all of this information in order to obtain an account.

5.2. Services Subscription
If you choose to subscribe for some of Drey paid services, we will collect your credit card information: number and expiration date, and keep this information on file in our secure server in order to process your recurring invoices. Upon the deactivation of Drey account, your information will be destroyed.

5.3. Profile
At your own preference, you may also provide your physical address, phone numbers and company name. If we are unable to process your subscription, we may use this information to contact you.

5.4. Widgets
Widgets may support functions that require that you disclose certain personally identifiable information. This information is collected in many different ways such as: forms, surveys, contests, forums, mail subscriptions and updating personal information, and are only used for the purpose for which they were collected. Forms which require sensitive information such as financial information (credit card) to process purchases for products or services are SSL encrypted to protect your sensitive information.

5.5. Public Forums
Our Website offers publicly accessible blogs or community forums. You should be aware that any content you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and used by others who access them.

5.6. Invite
Drey provides a tool that allows you to share services with other users. Email addresses entered are not stored in our database, but may be stored in our system logs to assist us in tracking down abusive users. The email sent through any of these mechanisms is a one-time email only (we don’t contact them independently).

Basically this means: We collect information during registration and subscription and on your profile, but also via various widgets, public forums and invite features.


6. How We Use Personal Information

Personal Information is used for the following purposes:


a) Operation and distribution of the features and functions of Drey.
b) Publication of the User name and status information.
c) Improvement of service quality and development of new features.
d) Improvement of the accessibility and functionality of Drey advertising.
e) Fast log in process.
f) Provision of personalized content and information on Drey.
g) Statistical analysis, for example: number of visitors, clicks, log-ins, views.


Basically this means: Your Personal Information is used for improvement of our services and your better experience.


7. Sharing Personal Information with 3rd Parties

We do not sell trade or share your personal information to third parties.


Drey uses third party service providers (such as payment processors, domain registrars, SSL authorities) to assist it in providing a more complementary service for you. Such third party providers’ use of your personal information is governed by their respective privacy policies which may or may not contain privacy protections as protective as this privacy policy. We encourage our users to be aware of this and read the privacy statements of our third party providers before disclosing information directly to them.

Additionally, we may share account or other information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, to protect our interests or property, to prevent fraud or other illegal activity perpetrated to Drey. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, agents or government agencies.


Basically this means: We do not give away, trade or sell your Personal Information and emails to others, but may disclose it to our service providers and legal representatives if necessary.


8. Links to 3rd Parties



8.1. Other Sites
If you click on a link to another site, you will leave Drey. Because we cannot control the activities of third parties, we cannot accept responsibility for their use of your personally identifiable information nor guarantee that they comply with the same privacy practices as Drey. If you visit a third party website that is linked to Drey, you should read that website’s privacy policy before providing any personally identifiable information.


8.2. Social Media Widgets
Our website includes Social Media features, such as Share or Like button. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.


Basically this means: If you go to other sites from Drey or use social networking features, you should also read their own privacy policies.


9. Direct Communications

Drey may send out only e-mails with Drey-related news, products, offers, surveys or promotions. We will give you the opportunity to “opt-out” from these communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the email you receive or by contacting us directly at support@drey.com.


Please note that despite your indicated email preferences, we may send you service-related communications, including notices of any updates to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.


Drey will never provide your email address to a third party without your explicit permission.


Basically this means: You have the possibility to opt-out from our promotional emails anytime you want.


10. Advertising Choices

The free version of Drey – Free Website is accessible for advertisers (Ad Networks). These companies use programs to send the advertisements directly to the address of the User and automatically get its IP address. In addition, software can be used (such as cookies, JavaScript, web beacons) to measure advertising effectiveness and to personalize the advertising. Although Drey does not pass any personal information about Users to ad networks, advertisers may use this information to draw conclusions about user behavior and personal characteristics. Ad Networks may also use visitor information such as the number of changes to the status message to determine which advertisements to send to a User.


Within Drey you will have the choice to remove advertisements. However, because 3rd party advertisers place their own cookies on your device that facilitate their targeting, this may not completely prevent you from receiving ads. You may need to opt-out of ad targeting according to their mechanism.


Basically this means: By using our free services your may receive ads, but you also have the option to remove it.


11. Your Control of Personal Information

Access and control over personal content on Drey is possible through the content editing tools. You may modify or delete any of their personal content at any time by logging into your Drey account. Any such changes will be updated immediately.


Users who wish to deactivate their Drey account may do so on their Account page. We will retain and use your information only if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For this reason, removed information may persist in backup copies for a certain period of time but will not be generally available to you.


If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you can also update/delete information or deactivate the account it by emailing our Customer Support at support@drey.com.


Basically this means: You are fully enabled to change or delete your personal information.


12. Children

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13) as part of the Service. Please contact us if you believe we have any Personal Information from any children under the age of 13 and we will promptly investigate and remove it.


Basically this means: We are not allowed to provide services, nor access private information of young children.


13. Security

Drey takes reasonable precaution to protect your Personal Information from misuse, loss and unauthorized access. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in place, such as private passwords, SSL encryption, firewalls, and other measures. Personal Information is stored on our servers and protected by secured networks with limited access to a few authorized employees and personnel. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and Drey does not warrant the security of any such information.


However, in case we discover that the security breach occurred, we will take all the necessary steps to minimize damage and also inform you so that you may be able to make protective measures.


Basically this means: We do all that is in our power to make your data protected and secured.


14. Business Transfer

During the course of time, we may merge or be acquired by a third party company. In this case, your Information may be transferred within our group or to a third party who will continue to operate our or similar services with the same or different Privacy Policy about which you will be notified accordingly.


Basically this means: It may occur that Drey services changes ownership, in which case you will be notified accordingly.

15. Changes to Policy

Drey reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy at any time without giving any reasons for the change. The User will be notified of the adjustments within 10 working days before the change.


Basically this means: Privacy policy may naturally change in time, we will notify you if it does.
